Playa De Las Caletas in Lanzarote is a Hidden Gem

Lanzarote has some absolutely stunning beaches, many of which are well-loved by tourists and locals alike. These include Papagayo beach next to Playa Blanca, Playa Famara, and Playa Chica in Puerto del Carmen. There are countless other beaches that are not so well known, but are often equally as nice!

Playa De Las Caletas located close to Costa Teguise is one such beach. It is a tiny beach, but great to go and swim at. There are no tourists here as they have all the bigger beaches of Costa Teguise or Arrecife to choose from, so just the locals come here.

You will not find people playing annoying loud music, or big groups of teens being rowdy. This is a beach for families to relax or to come as an individual for a relaxing swim.

There is a mixture of sand and rocks, and of course loads of sun most of the year. After you have finished your swim there is a really lovely restaurant/bar only five minutes walk away with amazing sea views.

Overall this is a great place to come and chill out and get away from the stresses that life often throws at us.
